I can NOT find any source that lists what the J. stands for in his middle name!!! I guess we'd need his IL birth certificate.

The picture I used is the best image available, though its also the smallest. Some larger newspaper photos are available but they are much less clear. There may be a portrait in the Purinton hall on the Kent State campus. Maybe we could get a copy of that?
