The Banks, Bankers and Bank Notes of Davidson County, TN (1807-1935)

'Hometown' Bank Notes showing the bank's name, and signed by local bank officers, were issued by most National Banks during the National Bank Note Era (1863-1935), and by most Obsolete Banks during the TN Obsolete Bank Note Era (1807-1866). Davidson county had 15 National Banks in operation between 1863 and 1935, and 13 of those banks issued National Bank Notes. Davidson county also had 15 Obsolete Banks that issued Obsolete Bank Notes between 1807 and 1866.
