The Miners Bank of Pottsville obsolete $2 banknote with signatures of F.B. Wingert, Cashier and E.J. Shippin, President, dated 11 June 1861. A central vignette of a horse being shoed, while Ceres and a cherub are seen at left and a portrait of Christopher Columbus appears at right. An American Bank Note Company Phila. imprint is seen vertically at left. A refurbished design that was used twenty years earlier with this one adding some color with the red "TWO" protector and "2" die ch649
