The Bank of Washington Obsolete $100 proof, Haxby DC-385, engraved by Draper, Welsh & Co., Philadelphia. Central portrait of George Washington flanked by a mechanic and farmer to the right and a sailor with anchor and 3-mast ship to the left. Lower left vignette of a woman with sheaf of wheat. Lower right vignette of what the Washington Monument was originally supposed to look like, with a large building surrounding the monument's base. This design was never constructed due to cost and was replaced by the adopted design of an obelisk DC Ch3425
